Sunny Moza

Sunny Moza is an actor/director based in California. He appears mostly in independent movies, commercials and TV. He has also performed stand-up comedy at various events including Waheeda Rehman's fundraiser for Pratham.

Moza's latest short film Love Fool was the official selection at the Silicon Valley Film Festival and was screened to a full house at Serra Theaters where the Chief Guest was the Mayor of Milpitas, Jose "Joe" Esteves. The event, which took place in October 2011, was covered by reputed newspapers and TV channels. He has a versatile background and is very passionate about various aspects of film making - acting, directing, writing and editing. His previous short film Kurse was screened at the Mississippi International Film Festival in November 2010 and at Club Albertos in Mountain View, CA to a full house. It has also received the Audience Award at the Northern California Film Festival.

In October 2011, Moza was the guest speaker at the Fremont Area Writers meet - a branch of California Writers Club. He was also invited as the guest speaker on Film Making to address 150+ students at Irvington High School. He has also been the Film Judge for the Reflections Program at the Irvington PTA, where he judged student films, for 2 consecutive years.

Early life

Moza was born in Jammu, J&K, India. He did his schooling there before moving to Pune from where he did his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He completed his Masters in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, San Jose, CA. He is now settled in Bay Area, CA.
